Welcome to the Clear Lake A.M.E. Church Gospel Choir! This choir has a great and proud history of excellent choral music in the Gospel tradition.

Purpose and Mission of the Clear Lake A.M.E. Church Choir include:

	To perform gospel music to the glory of God and the edification of others
	To encourage positive interaction among its members, including strong teamwork, leadership, and friendship
	To support the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth of its members
	To promote a supportive and encouraging atmosphere so that each participant may be musically challenged and develop self confidence in singing
	To represent Clear Lake A.M.E. Church and the Gospel to others
	To share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others in all facets of choir participation

	Choir’s Retreat – Immediately following Annual Conference
	An annual retreat held at the beginning of each year. The focus of the retreat is on personal interaction, goal setting, and group dynamics and to elect new officers. It is an essential ingredient in continuous development of the choir.

Choir Rehersals:

Adult Choir meets 7:30 PM every Thursday
Young People Choir meets the 2^nd and 3^rd Friday of each month at 7:30 PM
The Children’s Choir meets the 2^nd and 3^rd Friday of each month at 7:00 PM
