Clear Lake A.M.E. Lay Ministry

The Lay Organization Objective:

The purpose of the Lay Organization is to instill in its membership a love and appreciation for the history, tradition and principles of African Methodism; advocating respect and loyalty to the constituted authority; encouraging the support of the total program of the local church; fostering systematic participation in the church; organizing and training Lay members concerning the goals and objectives of the Connectional Lay Organization.

Clear Lake A.M.E. Church Lay Organization has formed the Clear Lake A.M.E. Foundation. This non-profit corporation is organized to promote the well being of under represented minorities. Specifically, we will promote literacy, higher education, as well as sponsor programs that will bridge gaps among the diverse ethnic groups in the Clear Lake Area.

Management of the affairs of the corporation is vested in the following board of directors.
